Skin history
AUG | Daedalus appeared in CS:GO on May 26, 2015. It belongs to The Gods and Monsters Collection that contains 14 weapon finishes dedicated to the mythology of Ancient Greece. It was introduced to the shooter along with Operation Bloodhound.
Pattern features
The skin is named after Daedalus, the mythical ancient Greek engineer, notably credited with creating the famous Labyrinth of Knossos in Crete. Most of the rifle displays a pattern of thick gray lines (some of which have a red outline), closely resembling a labyrinth.
Effect of the pattern index
The pattern index determines the appearance of the formed pattern. There are no valuable pattern variations for this skin.
Effect of float
Float Value of AUG | Daedalus can vary between 0.00 and 0.55, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the weapon’s quality deteriorates, paint gets gradually erased from the rifle's surface. In the “Battle-Scarred” condition, the weapon loses a significant amount of paint, disrupting the integrity of the pattern.
Rarity and popularity
AUG | Daedalus is categorized as the “Consumer Grade” rarity and is unavailable in either souvenir or StatTrak versions. The skin is not popular among CS2 fans.
